About Olfactory Health Association

Rediscover Your Sense of Smell. Reconnect with Your Mind.

At the Olfactory Health Association, we believe your sense of smell isn’t secondary, it’s foundational. Smell is the only sense directly wired into the brain’s emotional and memory centers, making it one of the earliest, and most overlooked, indicators of brain health.

We are a Canadian not-for-profit dedicated to advancing public education, early detection, and cognitive resilience through smell. Whether you're navigating sensory loss, noticing subtle memory changes, or simply want to stay sharp as you age, our programs help you tune into the brain’s most powerful access point: your nose.

Our approach blends neuroscience, lived experience, and evidence-based practice. From one-on-one olfactory assessments to our Olfactory Reboot program, we offer tools for people at every stage: proactive, preventative, or seeking reconnection after illness.

Our Mission

We are Canada’s leading not-for-profit platform advancing olfactory health and cognitive resilience through public education, validated smell testing, and science-backed sensory training.

Our goal is to raise awareness and expand access to effective, affordable tools that protect memory, support emotional well-being, and build long-term brain resilience, starting with the sense of smell.

Because smell is more than a sense. It’s a signal. And by listening to it early, we help people stay connected to memory, emotion, and meaning as they age.
