Olfactory Health Assessment

How well is your sense of smell working?

Your nose might know more than you think. Loss of smell is one of the earliest signs of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s, often appearing 10 to 20 years before memory loss. This short assessment allows us to check in with your olfactory system and reflect on any subtle changes.

The Olfactory Health Assessment is a comprehensive, in-person evaluation of your sense of smell, designed to establish a personalized baseline for your olfactory function. It’s a diagnostic and educational tool rooted in neuroscience and clinical research, helping you understand your current smell capacity, and how it connects to your overall health, memory, mood, and cognitive resilience.

What it involves

  • A 1-Hour In-Person Smell Test

    • Conducted using standardized smell identification and threshold tests.

    • Evaluates how well you detect and identify scents.

  • Personalized Smell Health Plan

    • Delivered via email after your session.

    • Includes practical, science-backed recommendations tailored to your results.

    • May include olfactory training, environmental adjustments, and lifestyle habits to support health.

  • Optional Virtual Support

    • Setup Zoom Call (30 min): Walk through your results and next steps.

    • Follow-Up Check-In (4–6 months): Track changes and refine your plan or purchase the full package (A before and after assessment + training).

Why It Matters:

Your sense of smell is closely tied to brain health, particularly memory, emotional regulation, and even early detection of neurological decline. This assessment isn't just about identifying deficits; it's about empowering you to take control of this overlooked sense with intention and insight.

It’s ideal for:

  • People noticing changes in their sense of smell or their memory

  • Those recovering from illness or injury affecting the nose or brain

  • Anyone interested in proactive cognitive and emotional wellness
